Bud is one of Canberra’s most experienced Exercise Physiologists, specialising in the Pilates Method. He is a full member of Exercise and Sports Science Australia and is a recognised provider by private health insurers, worker’s compensation or as part of a Chronic Disease Management Plan.

Bud originally completed a Sports Studies degree, followed by an Advanced Diploma in Remedial Massage. It was whilst working in these fields that he became interested in the need to change long-term movement patterns and trained as a Pilates Method Instructor.

Bud has combined these skills for almost 20 years to treat people ranging from elite athletes to those requiring prolonged rehabilitation from car accidents, workplace injuries and surgery. Bud has a particular interest in chronic pain and has developed the holistic approach necessary for treating these complex conditions.

Bud uses an active treatment approach, involving a combination of manual hands-on work to release areas of joint and muscle tightness and exercises to strengthen and improve body awareness. Exercises involve floor work, weights, Swiss balls and specialised Pilates equipment including a trapeze table and reformer.

These exercises are designed to help people understand their condition and work with their body to improve everyday life.
